This weekend has seen me painstakingly updating the backbone of the site with lots of metadata information, keyword links and small tweaks that you will fail to notice across almost 2000 pages. One requested update you will notice however, is a 'HOME' link on every Lexicon entry and more images added to the Beyond the Pit. Also why not take a look at brilliant artwork of Kertesz Mate Zoltan 'Lord Azzur has never looked as good (see right)' and Emerson Tung's 'Eye of the Storm' rendition which is simply beautiful - on Page 4 of our Gallery.

NEWS: 20th November 2009

Brr, it's cold in my tower today and the bad weather is playing havoc with sorcery. Although winter is rapidly approaching and snow is just round the corner, I have been quite busy and have a few updates planned for today. First: Have you been captivated by the excellent creatures and characters detailed within the pages of the Fighting Fantasy? If so checkout our gallery for original artwork created by the Fighting Fantasy community. Here you can browse through black and white, as well as colour artwork including line, pencil, charcoal, paint and other media sent to the site. Why not send us yours and get your name in lights.

Throughout the day I will be adding have a lot more additions to the site including: more Lexicon entries (checkout the main page to discover the new original entries and updates, more Beyond the Pit links, and one or two more adventures in our Amateur Adventures area.

A BIG thank you to Tammy (for all her quiz contributions) and her suggestion for a Writer's Guild where fans can submit short stories based in Titan (or elsewhere), poetry, and tavern songs. Tammy also explained the area would broadens the site further with competitions, stories or poems of the month.

As 'Avana' would have it, the FF Stories section was going to be added very soon as the area existed on the old fightingfantasygamebooks.com website prior to its transformation into the site before you. Look to for the Writer's Guild soon.

NEWS: 18th November 2009

NEWS: 17th November 2009

Well its been a busy day :-) The River Eltus flooded its bank a week late and the Theocracy of Arantis needed my skills...sigh I must be getting old.

After a lot of image uploads to the site I am looking forward to an enjoyable rest and party today in the Black Lobster reminiscing with my old friend Helios Siren who won the All-comers FIght to the Death in the Blacksand gladiatorial games 19 years ago. How quickly time flies...

Whilst I get my robes ready and staff polished I have a lot more additions ready for upload to the site including: more Lexicon entries (I have over 5780 original entries from my encyclopaedia to add to add to the site and this may take some time), more Beyond the Pit links, and Treasures of the Briny Deep by Kieran Coghlan and Son of the Shadows by Justin Krahé adventures in our Amateur Adventures area.

How would you rate Stormslayer?

NEWS: 7th November 2009

This weekend I will be busy adding more Beyond the Pit and Lexicon entries and hopefully making the finishing touches to the soon to be added Amateur Adventures area. A major part of my plan this weekend adventurers' is to spend most of my time configuring and changing keywords all across the site into hyperlinks and the changes I have made so far will ensure these are automated for future keywords. The work being carried out will make navigation of the websites many articles, book descriptions, merchandise as well as lexicon and beyond the pit entries far easier. For example: Warlock of Firetop Mountain & WoFTM will now appear as hyperlinks to the Gamebook page of the book itself. Watch out for those Orc's this weekend and may your Stamina never fail. The Warlock.

NEWS: 6th November 2009

More 'BeyondthePit entries added today. Why not send in your artwork to illustrate creatures for which no illos appear yet. The very best submissions will appear on the website with your name for everyone to see. A big congratulations also to the joint winners of the September-October Artwork Competition. A big round of applause to Natalie Roberts and Lakatos István, a signed Fighting Fantasy book is on its way to you soon.

Check out the Warlock's Quill letters page created especially for fans who are new to Fighting Fantasy, as well as older fans of our adventure game books and system. The goal of the Warlocks Quill is to give YOU the opportunity to write in with all your interesting questions, comments . . . and complaints. Tell us what you'd like to see on this site and what new Polls you would like us to add at mail@fightingfantasy.com - because it's your site.

Oh...Amateur Gamebooks are coming VERY, very soon and I have added web-links to several brilliant websites dedicated to Fighting Fantasy and Gamebooks in general. Why not visit the following websites Demian's Gamebook Web Page, Fightingfantasy.org, Fang's Finest Emporium and FightingFantasyCollector for a browse, they are all excellent.

NEWS: 5th November 2009

As you may have noticed, today we have made a few cosmetic changes to the front page to allow our Reviews, Downloads, Maps and Solutions pages to be accessed online. The FF website editor will be adding YOUR! book Reviews, Solutions and Maps over the coming days as well as more Beyond the Pit and Gallery artwork. Feel free to send us your adventure sheets ideas, Reviews, artwork, solution guides and Maps.
