FIGHTING FANTASY FANTASTIC AT CHELTENHAM

A huge Fighting Fantasy thank you for everyone who made it to see Steve Jackson at the Cheltenham Book Fair in what was a fantastic event. The packed crowd were treated to a brilliant event and everyone had a great time. You are the Heroes!

COMING UP ON THE SITE IN OCTOBER

On the website this month we will adding lots of amateur Fighting Fantasy adventures created fans, alongside a new gallery of your art and an exhaustive guide to elementals! Let us know what you think of the events, amateur adventures and gallery.

AS SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW, THE FIGHTING FANTASY SITE WAS COMPROMISED OVER THE WEEKEND OF 26/27 SEPTEMBER AND TEMPORARILY DISABLED BY HACKERS. HOWEVER, AS IN Night of the Necromancer, DEATH IS NOT THE END! THE FIGHTING FANTASY WEBSITE HAS RISEN FROM THE ASHES AND IS BACK ONLINE. IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE WHILE TO GET THE SITE BACK TO WHERE IT WAS AND WE REALLY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR PATIENCE WHILE WE WORK AROUND THE CLOCK TO RESTORE EVERYTHING.

WE ARE ALSO TEMPORARILY WITHOUT THE Forum WHICH HAS SOME OUTSTANDING TECHNICAL ISSUES. AS SOON AS THESE ARE RESOLVED WE SHOULD HAVE THE Forum ACTIVE ONCE AGAIN.
IN THE MEANTIME, IT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO REFRESH THE WEBSITE WITH SOME OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS! SO, IF YOU HAVE ANY FIGHTING FANTASY ARTWORK OF YOUR OWN, OR AMATEUR ADVENTURES, Maps, OR Solutions - SEND THEM IN AND WE'LL START A FANS' GALLERY!
AND OF COURSE DON'T FORGET TO ENTER OUR BRILLIANT COMPETITIONS!

COVERS FOR 2010 TITLES!

Tonight we are also delighted to present the draft covers for the six titles in the first half of 2010. Night of the Necromancer will have a new illo commissioned as the draft is from Return to Firetop Mountain and is there to fill a gap only. Some of the colours may also be tweaked too!

Stormslayer

Sorcery!

The fourth book of the relaunch is a brand new, Jonathan Green Fighting Fantasy adventure, the first new book in two years. After years of peace, the kingdom of Femphrey is at war again – and this time it’s with the elements! Devastating storms sweep across the country, destroying all in their path. Blizzards and floods threaten some areas while others suffer the worst droughts seen in centuries. But is this climate chaos all it appears to be? Or is there some dark design to this meteorological meltdown?

YOU are a seasoned adventurer, known throughout the land. You have battled giants and slain dragons, but how can even a veteran warrior like yourself fight the weather? Are YOU ready to take up the challenge and face the perils that await you within the eye of the storm?
