Ian and Steve will be attending Dragonmeet at Kensington Town Hall, London again this year on Saturday 7th December 2013.

They will be giving a talk followed by a signing at the Arion Games stand with Graham Bottley. Fighting Fantasy books will be for sale.

Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson to attend Dragonmeet 2012 - December 1st.

Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson will be in attendance at Dragonmeet 2012 this year on Saturday 1st December. Dragonmeet is held every year in Kensington Town Hall, London between 10am and 6pm. Ian will be giving a talk at 12pm on Fighting Fantasy and Blood of the Zombies. Fighting Fantasy will be having a table this year, manned by The Warlock, selling books and somewhere for both authors to sign books and meet fans alike. See you all there.

Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson will be attending UK Games Expo on Saturday (only) to talk about the launch of the new book 'Blood of the Zombies'. In attendance at the event will also be Leo Hartas, one of the original Fighting Fantasy artists.

10th - 15th April 2012 GADGET SHOW LIVE - BIRMINGHAM NEC

Students studying Train2Game courses are launching four new development studios in 2012 as part of ‘Make Something Unreal Live,’ a competitive process designed to accelerate their careers by giving them the tools and resources needed to release games for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch this spring. The first titles released by the studios will be based on the Fighting Fantasy series of books created by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson.

Train2Game and Epic Games have created the ‘Make Something Unreal Live’ competition where students are challenged to create their own studios and develop games for the iOS platform using Epic Games’ Unreal Development Kit (UDK). The winning studio will receive a full source, commercial Unreal Engine 3 licence for iOS as well as gain invaluable professional experience in the game.

Ian Livingstone OBE will be attending DRAGONMEET 2011 on Saturday 26th November 2011 at Kensington Town Hall. He will be interviewed between 11am and 12pm in an open question and answer session by James Wallis. Afterwards he will be signing Fighting Fantasy books at the Arion Games stand. The prolific and esteemed Fighting Fantasy author Jonathan Green will also be present on the day.


THE 3rd UK GAMES EXPO: JUNE 5-6, 2010

Fighting Fantasy was signed up to go to the 3rd UK Games Expo on 5/6 June in Birmingham. We was there were you? Lookout for great images from the event soon.


The UK Games Expo is an exhibition of games of all types including Board Games, Card Games, Role- playing Games , Miniatures and Computer gaming for the general public, family groups as well as gaming enthusiasts. It is the UKs biggest Multi-genre games show (exhibiting games of all types) with 100 exhibitors, over 2000 attendees and many dozens of games to play.


Wizard Books, Steve Jackson, and Ian Livingstone will be attending on Sat 5th to exhibit their books and visitors can meet, chat and get their books signed.

Games Expo 2010


As well as numerous trade stands there are also many tournaments and organised play sessions as well as costumed groups and children’s competitions.


On Friday 4th there will be open gaming rooms and role-playing sessions as part of Friday Games day. These are held in the adjacent Strathallan Hotel.


The main trade show and public event is on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th of June at the Clarendon Suites. UK Games Expo hosts the release of a number of new games from across the genres. We also host National tournaments including the Mayfair Games Settlers of Catan Tournament, the UK Carcassonne Tournament, the Privateer Press UK Masters and a special Schools games tournament.

Very exciting for Fighting Fantasy fans is that Les Edwards and Dave Carson (Artist Guests of Honour) will be attending the World Horror Convention, which for the first time will be held in Europe. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, World Horror Convention 2010 will be held in the historic Regency seaside city of Brighton, Sussex, on the picturesque south coast of England.

The theme is "BRIGHTON SHOCK!—A CELEBRATION OF THE EUROPEAN HORROR TRADITION FROM VICTORIAN TIMES TO THE PRESENT DAY", and the convention will host numerous panels, talks, presentations, readings, signings, launches, workshops and displays devoted to horror, macabre, mystery and thriller fiction and art in all its varied and fearsome forms. There will also be a Dealers' Room and an Art Show.






The Bradford Animation Festival (BAF) is the UK's biggest and longest-running annual animation festival and a project of the National Media Museum. It is host to masterclasses, seminars, workshops, screenings and special events led by some of the animation industry's top names, the festival's high point is the annual BAF Awards, which celebrate the very best in new animation from around the world.



Good news for Fighting Fantasy fans! was that are very own Ian Livingstone OBE was attending the event to give a talk about his fascinating career, Fighting Fantasy and the struggles of being an entrepreneur and the value of intellectual property in a digital age at 4:30pm.

The BAF Game, the gaming strand to the Bradford Animation Festival. Running over two days from Tuesday 10th to Wednesday 11th November, BAF Game focuses on the creative world of video games. So if you’re looking to get your foot in the door of the industry, or just curious about the world of Fighting Fantasy or gaming, make sure you book your pass as soon as possible.
